About Asia Diamond

Originally from New York, Asia Diamond has over twenty years of dancing under her belt. She honed her craft at Alvin Ailey, Dance Theater of Harlem, Joffrey Ballet, Harlem School of the Arts and the Harlem Hospital Dance Leadership Program- some of the most distinguished dance training centers in America. Asia has worked with many notable choreographers including Michelle Johnston, Anthony Hart ,Robin Dunn, Pony Zion and many more.

In pursuit of artistic ascendancy and overall excellence, Asia relocated to Atlanta in 2009. Her style, grace, petite frame and aura were all contributing factors to her immediate success in the “city of entertainment.” Within one year Asia signed with SDA Talent Management and Bloc South Talent Agency un-exclusively.

Since then, she has ventured out into modeling, hosting and acting. Asia was featured in the 2010 Beauty/Fashion Winter Issue of Kontrol Magazine one of Atlanta’s renowned online magazines. Both impressed with and intrigued by her exquisiteness and charm, the editors of Kontrol invited Asia to model at their second annual charity fashion show, benefiting Sickle Cell Anemia.

Asia was the principle dancer for A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song- the Warner Brothers movie that premiered in 2012 on ABC Family. She served as a dancer for R&B and Pop singer Wish. Asia has also opened for the Eriam Sisters showcase, where performed to the hit single Diary by the America’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist. Waiting In Line an Off Broadway Play held at the National Black Theater. Other principal dancer roles include: Beat Street 2012. Most recently Asia is currently a member of Drea Kelly La Belle Jette.

Up to date Asia Diamond has worked with movie director Ang Lee on set of Billy Lynn’s Long Half Time Walk coming out Nov 2016, R&B singer Felixx and more. Her hosting career has taken off by storm she has had the chance to interview Naturi Naughton, Kiyah Wright, Elise Neal , Tye Tribbet, Lisa Raye  and more.

Asia Diamond is now also pursing her acting career. Yes, she is the woman of many hats. She was offered to have her first speaking role in Twisted Mines web series. Getting this role has offered her many more opportunities. You can catch her in TV One Fatal Attraction in Jan. 2016. She is also featured in a short film, and has plenty more coming her way.
