LastPass for free helps users centralize their passwords and logins, autofill website logins, store secure notes, improve the online shopping experience and share confidential data safely with others.

“We want to ensure that LastPass is accessible for all users, including mobile-only users who need help managing their passwords and apps. Wherever you get started, you can use LastPass on that device, and any others of the same device type — desktops, smartphones, or tablets — for free!”

According to the new pricing model of the popular password manager, you can get started with LastPass for free on any device, including tabs, smartphones or desktops. Users can now sync passwords across any one platform with no additional charges.

For instance, if you have signed up for LastPass on your Android phone, you will also be able to access your passwords on your Android tab without upgrading to LastPass Premium.

Joe Siegrist, CEO of LastPass, said:

“People often hear about useful apps on the go and want to get started right away from their smartphone. This new freemium model allows LastPass users to get started with our password manager on the device of their choice.”

LastPass for free is available only across one platform, but if you would like to sync cross-platform, you will need to pay $12/year for the LastPass Premium subscription, which comes with a 14-day free trial. The paid service also offers some multi-factor options for increased security and priority customer support. Get started by downloading the LastPass from its website.
