According to Apple spokesperson smartwatch will be available at more than 100 Best Buy stores in the United States and will expand to over 300 outlets before the holiday shopping season.

Best Buy will sell Apple Watch and Jason Bonfig, Senior Category Officer at Best Buy gave a statement regarding it:

Last week, Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said that Apple Watch was off to a strong start and its sales were better than the company expected, but he did not disclose the exact numbers regarding the sale of Smart Watch. He also said that the smartwatch was only available at 680 locations worldwide as of the end of June, compared to nearly 220,000 locations for the iPhone.

“Customers love Apple Watch, and we are thrilled to begin offering it at Best Buy locations across the U.S. starting August 7,” said Apple spokesperson.

When Best Buy will sell Apple Watch from next month, the company hopes that the sales of its smartwatch will be boosted. Currently, the Apple Watch is available in 19 countries and the company is planning to expand the availability to an additional three countries – Russia, Turkey and New Zealand.
