Yesterday it was announced by the American phone maker that it will soon be launching BLU Pure XL Smartphone for US consumers.
BLU was founded in 2009 and since then it has created a reputation among people living in the US annoyed with locked or contract based devices. As people are increasingly interested in buying phones without contract, BLU and other companies like Alcatel and Huawei can take advantage of the situation.
What are the specs of BLU Pure XL Smartphone?
The Pure XL will be powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core processor (clocked at 2GHz) coupled with 3GB of RAM. It sports a 6-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 resolution) Super AMOLED display and PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with a generous 3500mAh battery with quick charging capabilities and will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
BLU Pure XL Smartphone has a rear camera of 24-megapixel and a wide-angle selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The smartphone offers an internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can also be expanded by using a MicroSD card. The device also comes with dual stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner; giving the feel of a killer flagship phone. It comes with the encrypted file management system, making the phone more secured. It will come in two color options: gold and gray.
What is the price of Pure XL?
If you are interested in buying this killer phone, then you will have to pay $349, which is nearly half of what you’ll pay for a popular Samsung Galaxy S6 (Costing nearly $650) and has roughly similar specs. BLU Pure XL Smartphone will be available on Amazon on September 29 and will be sold as an unlocked device compatible with both T-Mobile and AT&T’s 4G LTE networks. It can’t be said now whether this smartphone will be able to find a way in the US market or not.
