Dark Souls 3 Is Coming to Crush You in April 2016

The popular game of medieval fantasy, Dark Souls 3, from Japanese developer, Bandai Namco is slated to be released in the April of 2016. The game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, as announced by Bandai Namco at a press event a few days before the Tokyo Game Show.

New features in Dark Souls 3

While Dark Souls 2 had limits on casting, its successor has changed that. Now the magic meter of the player gets depleted by spells. The players can fill up their magic meter again by resting at the save point on a bonfire or by collecting items. This new addition has given more flexibility while in combat.

The four characters which were shown to the press, had great variation in their magic abilities. Short-range spinning sword attacks use up almost 50% of a full meter, but the attacks for long-range were cheap.

Dark Souls 3 seem to be very tactical as the demo version played by us had no path that could be labelled correct. The players can outrun or totally avoid enemies by being judicious. It even has shortcuts to reach the lair of the boss of the game.

The director of the game Hidetaka Miyazaki declared that Dark Souls 3 is not the last of the series.

Release and Pricing of Dark Souls 3

The game will be released in Japan on March 24. It will be out in Europe and North American markets soon after the release in Japan.

If you are a fan of the game, you can visit the official site of Dark Souls 3 and register before 4th October. You might be a few of the lucky ones who get to join a three hour long session starting from 16th October and ending on 18th October.

The game is priced at $59.99 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while the PC version will be slightly cheaper.
