Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of fraud as Rand Paul exits race

On Wednesday, though, he gave a cautious outlook on his prospects in New Hampshire and beyond. “I came in second and they didn’t call it great”. As the candidates barrel toward New Hampshire, which on Tuesday will hold the election’s first primary, early signs have shown Rubio to be climbing there after his Iowa performance. It lasted until Trump rained on his parade and accused Ted Cruz of voter’s fraud.

Trump said he would have won Iowa if the Carson rumor had not been allowed to spread, suggesting that Cruz picked up votes that would have otherwise gone to Carson.

Trump says Cruz should be disqualified as the winner of the caucus. Mr. Cruz said. “I don’t think people are interested in a temper tantrum, or you can call it a ‘Trumper tantrum'”.

Trump blamed the incorrect polling predictions on a difficult caucus system in Iowa, and he added that he’s new to the game of politics. Marco Rubio. The poll found that nationally, Trump’s support has fallen to 25 percent, while Cruz and Rubio are tied with 21 percent each.

Trump tweeted that “during primetime of the Iowa Caucus, Cruz put out a release that @RealBenCarson was quitting the race, and to caucus (or vote) for Cruz”. In a scorched-earth statement, Mr. Carson accused his opponents of using “political tricks by tweeting, texting and telling precinct captains to announce that I had suspended my campaign – in some cases asking caucus goers to change their votes”.

In attacks posted on his official Twitter account Wednesday, February 3, Trump said “either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified” in the Iowa contest.

In the run-up to the Iowa caucuses, Republicans Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, two anti-establishment candidates, had dominated the polls in the state while Rubio lagged well behind.

That’s likely The Iowa GOP’s way of saying, “Who finished second?”

Trump’s tone has drastically shifted from Monday night, when he graciously thanked Iowa voters for handing him second place. After a brief effort to appear statesmanlike and spin his success positively, Trump is now accusing Texas Sen.
