According to several thousand advertising campaigns, we’re now in the “giving season”, and the State Department just gave a fun gift to Hillary Clinton’s enemies and observers: several new e-mail chains from the private computer server she kept in her basement.

Included in the most recent batch was an email that the intelligence community inspector general, I Charles McCullough III, and the State Department inspector general, Steve Linick, deemed classified in July.

In a Dec 13, 2009 email to an aide, Clinton expresses concern about participating in a joint interview with her predecessor Henry Kissinger due to their differing relationships with the presidents they served.

In an email to Sidney Blumenthal, Clinton offers her analysis of the Florida GOP primary race between “Mittens” and “Grinch”. “If Mittens can’t beat Grinch in Florida, there will be pressure on state Republican parties to reopen or liberalize ballot access, especially in the caucuses, which as we know are creatures of the parties’ extremes”, she wrote.

In 2013, Warren and the rest of the group of Democratic women senators signed onto a letter urging Clinton to launch a presidential bid.

A week after Rice did the talk show rounds, as controversy deepened over claims of deliberate misleading on the part of the administration, Sullivan sent Clinton a compilation of all the statements she had made in the days following the attacks – 24 pages of statements and comments between September 11 and 21. The email was addressed to an account under the name “Diane Reynolds“, an alias Chelsea Clinton used for personal messages.

Aides went overboard with praise immediately after Clinton’s first congressional testimony about Benghazi, with one compiling all of the “Hillary-kvelling” on Twitter after her performance. “Very hard day and I fear more of the same tomorrow”.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also examining Clinton’s private server to see whether government information was mishandled.

Kristina Schake, deputy communications director for the Clinton campaign, said, “As First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made significant strides to empower women and girls in this country and throughout the world”.

“Thanks for the outreach, but I’m ok in the doctor department for now”, wrote back Clinton.

The stage setting was emblematic of Clinton’s campaign, which has managed to round up the vast majority of the Democratic Party’s elected officials into her camp, and especially colleagues of her top rival for the nomination, Sen. The issue erupted into a scandal as she was preparing to kick off her 2016 presidential campaign, and remained a Republican talking point for months as they sought to knock down the Democratic frontrunner.

In his 1999 book, “The Clinton Tapes”, biographer Taylor Branch says former President Bill Clinton told him his spouse had a “discomfort” with gay people acting out based on her conservative religious temperament. “Frist responded wonderfully and is ready to help”.

This is an irony; given that she is the only candidate in both parties who has real experience in foreign policy.

“I am not sure why she wasn’t here. I think it gives Daesh a new recruitment tool”, Clinton said.
