The search engine giant realized that thanks to its own internal study; according to which users often don’t click through such annoying ads when they encounter them. Google is annoyed by Install Our App Ads

Initially the mobile friendly update of the algorithm by Google tweaked primarily targeted sites whose designs were not optimized for a mobile browsing experience. Now when Google is annoyed by Install Our App Ads, the ranking of the websites indulged in such activities will be affected.

This move by the search giant isn’t completely altruistic; Google has a bit selfish reason to keep people on the mobile web because it can be easily monetized more easily than in-app experiences. Twitter and Facebook have been successfully building a great business around app install ads, and now the search giant is anxious to be a part of this rapidly expanding market.

Google is annoyed by Install Our App Ads, but it doesn’t mean it will eliminate app download ads completely. The move by search giant will only target interstitials that take over a significant portion of the site. From November 1st the mobile sites using such ads will be penalized. So the website owners are advised to optimize their websites according to the latest guidelines by the search engine giant.
