What a co-incidence, HBO made this announcement just in time for the show that everyone loves (to pirate) comes back for its 6th season.

How to reap the benefits of HBO Now app?

HBO Now, which is separate from HBO Go, doesn’t require a cable subscription but is instead available for $15/month. However, you can sign up for a free trial month before deciding whether you want to start paying for it or not.

Also, if you don’t want to be charged then remember to terminate your contract one day after you’ve watched your 4th free GoT episode.

The service is already available on iOS devices, Android, Amazon’s Fire devices, Roku, and PC. There’s also a new HBO Now app for Samsung TVs.

This HBO Now app has given people without cable subscriptions the chance to sign up for HBO and stream its long list of TV series.

Good News for Xbox One Owners

Well, Xbox One is the first console launch for HBO Now and you can find it in the Xbox Store.

But a PlayStation 4 version has not been released yet.

However, both consoles have access to HBO Go, so people who have subscribed to HBO through cable will also have easy access through their consoles for a while now.

What about the rest of the episodes?

It’s worth mentioning, that you can cancel your subscription after the show is over, as HBO lets you sign up and sign out of HBO Now on a monthly basis, without any penalty.

So what are you waiting for? Download the app now so that you can also join those long conversations about Jon Snow with your colleagues and friends.
