Instagram Updated App with All New Search and Explore Features

Instagram has over 300 million active users and millions of photos gets uploaded every day. Now, Instagram updated app will have all new Search and Explore features which will make it easy for users to find people and places that they were looking for.

All new Explore Page

The all new Explore page will display “Trending Tags and Trending Places” to the users as they emerge in real-time, allowing them to connect to the events that are occurring near them and worldwide. Furthermore, at the top of new Explore page, users will find latest curated collections that will be updated on a regular basis. This collection features categories including stunning architectures, compelling places, extreme athletes and beautiful beaches.

All New Search Bar

Also, Instagram updated app has the new search capabilities. The all new search bar lets users search across tags, people and places all at once. Users can now search images about any location on Earth, with the help of new Places Search. This will allow users to search their next vacation spot, experience their favorite music festival or get a look inside any new restaurant.

Instagram updated app will now allow its users to get a quick look at the hashtags that are trending on that particular day. For instance, a glance at Tuesday’s trending hashtags showed that users were posting about the video game “Arkham Knight”, “Olympic Day” and “National Pink Day.”

Instagram’s Project Manager, Blake Barnes said that they focus on trending topics and that Instagram did not have plans for live streaming at this time.

The updates for Instagram updated app will be rolling out today for Android and iOS but the new Explore Page will be initially available in U.S only, but the all new search -tab will be available for everyone. The all new Explore Page will be launched for everyone else after ‘fine-tuning’ the product, according to Instagram officials.
