According to recent rumors, leaks and speculation it is said that Apple is planning to launch its latest iPad products this year. According to sources the tech giant will likely launch iPad Mini 4 along with the iterations of iPad Pro and iPad Air, this coming October.
Leaked specs of iPad Mini 4:
According to a Macotakara’s report the upcoming iPad Mini 4 may be a “smaller version of the iPad Air 2.” It also appears that Apple’s mini-tab will have 7.9-inch display screen. The dimensions will be nearly same as that of iPad mini 3 except for the thickness, which will be reduced from 7.5mm to 6.1mm. The device is said to be powered by an A8 chip, 2GB Ram and will have an 8 megapixel iSight camera on board.
Considering the disappointing features of the previous version of iPad Mini which added only a Touch ID to differentiate it from the iPad Mini 2, it seems that its successor iPad mini 4 will be a true upgrade. The company hopes that these changes will attract more tab users to switch to Apple.
According to MacWorld, the iPad Pro also dubbed as iPad Plus is said to be poised for a “small cautious” release in November. It is said that the upcoming iPad Pro is inspired by the successful launch of Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3, which has been marketed as the tab that could work as a laptop.
It is also said that Apple may slash the prices of the upcoming iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro and iPad Air to boost the sales. According to a report, users of Apple iPad want that the upcoming iPad Mini 4 should feature the “zero-gap” aluminium construction, which was earlier used in the iPad Air 2 models.
