Earlier this year, Runtastic, the developer of famous fitness apps was bought by Adidas. It is already selling hardware products like a heart rate monitor, the Runtastic Orbit and some other devices. Now the company has launched Runtastic Moment, which is a classic analog watch for fitness freaks.
With the Runtastic Moment, the company is trying to meet the need of both fitness freaks and fashion freaks. This smartwatch is waterproof up to 300 feet and can store fitness data for up to a week on its own. This watch can also be synced with the Runtastic Me app, which the company launched for its Orbit wearable. Since it uses a standard watch battery you’ll be impressed with its 6 month battery life. You don’t need to charge it like other fitness trackers and smart wearables.
Florian Gschwandtner, CEO and Co-Founder of Runtastic, said:
“Looking at the products currently available, we strongly felt there was a large gap between fashion and functionality. Therefore, we developed the Runtastic Moment to be an all-encompassing device that is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and habit-forming.”
If a user stays inactive for a long period, the wearable includes an alarm feature to notify the user regarding that. Moreover, the company has also added a progress indicator to show users how far they have reached than their previously established daily goal.
