Hello Foodies! Today I have got some good news for you. If are you thinking I am going to give you a treat, then Sorry! I am not. If you enjoy food photography, then this news is for you. The Google Maps app will let you post food photos in just two taps.

Earlier this year, Google has closed Tablescape app – its food shot app by which you can upload photo of your tasty food with some caption. But, it looks the search engine giant does not give up on the idea of food photography.

The Google Maps app will let you post food photos and this new feature appears to tie into Google’s Local Guides service, launched earlier this year. Those who are Local Guides of level 3 and above will be able to get this feature, which the search giant is searching.

How the Google Maps app will let you post food photos?

Whenever you will take photographs at local places, this new feature will send a notification to your Android device, so that you can easily and quickly post the food photos to Maps for others to see. The search engine giant said that it is only a two-tap process, so it will not waste much of your precious time.

If you are not interested to receive these notifications, you can even choose to opt out of these notifications. Since this is a Google Maps feature, you need to simply turn off Maps notifications from the app’s settings menu.
