The company has showcased the Moto G (3rd-gen), Moto X Play and Moto X Style / Pure handsets. The phone finally got revealed and two variants of the device are available. The difference is that the new Nexus will be the first device to run on Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Customisation of the bezels, colours, materials used and what band you’d like are now available as well as options for either men or women. Other specifications include an eight-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a minimum of 16GB of expandable storage. Right now, Moto X Play is creating a good competition to some already existing smartphones, compiles Time of India. Until now, Verizon customers using the phone have been stuck on Android 4.4.4, however, after a supposedly successful test, Android 5.1 Lollipop is now approved, and beginning to roll out to the public.

According to Motorola, the Moto 360 Sport and premium metal band editions of the smartwatch are “coming soon”.

A second-generation version of wearable stablemate the Moto 360 is now also available to buy from £229.

Pre-orders for both devices are now live on Motorola’s United Kingdom website, with the Carphone Warehouse also set to make them available from 25 September.
