Ubisoft has confirmed that Zombi horror game for PS4, Xbox One and PC will be released on August 18. The game has been optimized for the new gaming consoles as it was initially launched as ZombiU for Wii U in 2012.
When Nintendo’s Wii U was launched Ubisoft was the biggest third-party supporters of the gaming console. Ubisoft released various games for Wii U, which includes Just Dance 4, Assassin’s Creed III, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, Rabbids Land. They developed a survival horror game called ZombiU exclusively for the Wii U.
Straight Right has been developing the new version of the ZombiU, called Zombi to bring gamers to a new level of horror. It is the same team behind the Nintendo’s Wii U version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut.
Earlier Ubisoft was planning a ZombiU sequel, but the game never made enough money to justify it. Whether the Zombi horror game for PS4 and other consoles will revive their interest to plan a sequel remains to be seen.
Gameplay details of Zombi:
In the game players attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse in London, if a player is killed by a zombie, they will come back as a different survivor and must take down their former, newly-zombified self to earn back all their old loot.
Zombi horror game for PS4 and other consoles also places great importance on player’s character’s supplies and the “bug-out bag” that stores them. When one of the player’s survivors dies, all the resources collected by them are also gone…that is, unless your next survivor makes it back to wherever player’s newly zombified former self expired and defeats it.
Zombi horror game for PS4, Xbox One and PC will not receive a physical retail release and will be available only for download.
