Now transfer your data wirelessly via SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick

SanDisk has launched a new Wireless Flash Drive, which can be used to transfer data wirelessly to any device having Wifi using SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick. There are various wireless media streamers available in the market that can connect to multiple devices simultaneously but they are quite expensive.

How will SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive work?

SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive will work wirelessly as well as via connecting with USB connector. If anyone wants to use it like a normal flash drive he or she can do it by plugging it into their PC like a normal flash drive. Users can also use SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick via Wifi connectivity, which will let them connect their flash drive with any Wifi enabled device via 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive can also be used for streaming HD movies and can connect to up to three devices at the same time. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is operated via a battery when used wirelessly and on a single charge it can support a ‘single stream’ of transfer for up to 4.5 hours.

SanDisk has developed a Connect app to manage all the content between devices through password protected Wifi connectivity. The app is compatible with various operating systems like Android, iOS and PC platforms. The app also has the feature to auto-backup all your photos and videos from the camera to the drive.

Ram Rajagopalan, SanDisk’s Product Marketing Manager said “The Stick was designed in-house by SanDisk’s industrial design team in Milpitas. Based on feedback gathered surrounding our first wireless connect products, we aimed to design a slim, simple and elegant device that could be extremely portable and easily accessed when plugged into a computer, like not blocking additional USB ports. The drive’s cap is a distinct character and helps it stand out amongst its peers.”

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick will come in 4 storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB and will cost around prices ranging from $29.99 to $99.99. If anyone wants to buy the SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive, they can buy right now at Best Buy or Amazon.
