Samsung latest 18.4 inch screen Android tab may be launched soon, but 18.4 inch screen for a Tab? Really!

What comes to your mind when you listen to the word Tab or Tablet? Probably, you will think 7 to 10 inch touchscreen device with Wifi connectivity, decent camera and many other features. But, Samsung is going to change our mindset in coming days with its next tab. According to the latest report by SamMobile, Samsung latest 18.4 inch screen Android tab may be launched soon.

What are the expected specs for the Samsung latest Android tab?

Samsung latest 18.4 inch screen Android tab will have a resolution of 1920×1080 (I think they should have offered a high resolution because of large screen size) and is said to be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device will be powered by an octa-core 64-bit (Samsung) Exynos 7580 processor clocked at 1.6GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The tab’s internal storage will be 32GB and can be expanded up to 128GB by using a microSD card for you to save more videos, movies, games and much more. Samsung latest 18.4 inch screen Android tab is said to feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a modest front camera of 2.1-megapixel along with a 5,700mAh battery.

Samsung latest Android tab is dubbed as “Tahoe,” according to our sources and Samsung is not the only company that is working on larger tabs, Panasonic is also in the large-screen tab market with its Toughpad 4K Performance, which is a Windows tab with a stunning 20-inch 4K display. According to me Samsung should have also used 4k display because of such large sized screen.

Price and release date not confirmed:

South Korean giant has not given any official statement regarding the launch of the device and it’s pricing. But, it is expected that Samsung latest 18.4 inch screen Android tab will be launched soon to compete against Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablet PCs.
