Greektown Casino in Detroit to get new name
JACK ThistleDown Racino will debut on March 9, followed by JACK Cleveland Casino in early May, JACK Cincinnati Casino in early June and JACK Detroit Casino-Hotel Greektown later this year. Each letter of the word “JACK” will represent a different program level.
According to an article in the Detroit News, the casino and its three sister properties (Jack ThistleDown Racino outside Cleveland, former Horseshoe Cleveland and former Horseshoe Cincinnati) will undergo a $40 million rebranding that will include an interchangeable rewards system.
Company managers claim the company has built a powerful team of experienced gaming executives whose first priority will be delivering an exceptional and unique entertainment experience for every guest who walks through the front door of JACK. This change will affect the casinos owned by the brand, all of which are located within the state of Ohio and city of Detroit, Michigan.
The rebranding will affect casinos in Cincinnati, Cleveland and North Randall, Ohio as well. The program will be launched in the coming weeks and months, as the properties change names and the operational transition is completed.
CEO Matt Cullen says now Rock Gaming has changed its name to Jack Entertainment.
