Nintendo new smaller 3DS will be launched in the US on September 25th
Yesterday, the Japanese company announced that it is finally bringing Nintendo new smaller 3DS to the United States and Canada on September 25th.
The smaller new 3DS will come with two sets of swappable faceplates, which let users customize the look of your gaming console. When this console was launched in Japan last year, 64 different faceplate designs were available costing nearly $10-25 each. Earlier this year, Nintendo of America unleashed the New Nintendo 3DS XL, which is larger, but it has no customization options like the smaller variant.
Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President said in a statement regarding Nintendo new smaller 3DS:
“More than 15 million systems in the Nintendo 3DS family have been sold in the U.S. alone. These new models offer additional fun ways to experience some of the great upcoming Nintendo 3DS games launching in the next few months.”
Face tracking feature added to the smaller 3DS:
Nintendo new smaller 3DS will come with the new face tracking feature for better 3-D as the new 3DS XL. This feature will help players to maintain a consistent gaming experience even when their viewing angle is changed.
The new 3DS models have a new “C stick” near the four face buttons, ZL and ZR buttons at the top. The console also comes with built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) functions that will let users bring amiibo figures into the game.
