Sony Xperia M5 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra unleashed especially for Selfie Lovers

Sony has unleashed two new smartphones Sony Xperia M5 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra designed especially for selfie lovers.

Specs of Sony Xperia M5:

The Sony Xperia Xperia M5 is a mid-range smartphone that features a 5-inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64-bit octa- core processor clocked @ 2Ghz with 3GB of RAM. Sony Xperia M5 has a rear camera of 21.5 megapixels and a front camera of 13 megapixels.

The rear camera will offer 5x zoom, auto scene recognition, 4K video recording, image stabiliser and geotagging among other features. The smartphone is said to be both waterproof and dust-proof, with IP65 and IP68 certifications. It has an internal storage of 16GB, a microSD slot and a battery 2600 mAh. Its dimensions are 145 x 72 x 7.6 mm to 142.5 g and will be running on Android Lollipop.

Specs of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra:

The new Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is designed especially for selfie lovers and has a 6-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek MT6752 64-Bit processor clocked at 1.7Ghz, 2GB RAM and an ARM Mali760 GPU. It has a rear and front camera with Exmor RS 13 Megapixels sensors and an LED flash with video recording in Full HD.

The device is powered by a 2930mAh battery and will have inbuilt 16GB of storage capacity that can be expanded using a microSD card (Max. 200 GB). It will also run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Unlike Sony’s other mid-range smartphones, the Xperia C5 Ultra doesn’t have IP65 and IP68 certifications, i.e it is not dust and water proof.

Sony has not revealed the price of both Sony Xperia M5 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, and the Japanese company said that both the phones will be available this month in selected countries.
