Blizzard officially announced World of Warcraft Legion and the beta version to hit by the year end

Last year, Blizzard ended the event with a promise to launch better, bigger expansions of the game and today at Gamescom it officially announced World of Warcraft Legion, the sixth expansion of the MMORPG.

World of Warcraft continues to attract thousands of active players even after a decade of its launch. Now let us talk about the gameplay, the enemies in the game World of Warcraft Legion will bring chaos and destruction wherever they go.

Moreover, the Legion will increase the maximum player level from 100 to 110 and players will also have access to another continent called Broken Isles. In this new continent players will search for the Tomb of Sargeras, and prepare for the invasion of a powerful demon army.

Blizzard description reads:

“To combat the armies of the Legion, Azeroth’s heroes will need to achieve unprecedented heights of power, securing mighty Artifacts—class-specific, highly customizable weapons forged in the fires of lore. They’ll also join forces with unlikely allies in the form of an all-new hero class, the vengeful Demon Hunter, and unify champions of their cause at their class’s Order Hall. Legion also empowers players to boost one character to level 100, making it so anyone can join the battle against the Legion alongside their friends.”

A new honor system will be implemented in the game World of Warcraft Legion, each class will have its own lounge and the players will have the ability to create weapons with magical artifacts. One of the major changes in the game by Blizzard is the addition of a new class: Demon Hunter for Blood Elves and Night Elves only.

World of Warcraft Legion release date has not been announced, but you can sign up for the beta version of the expansion by visiting the game’s official site. The beta version will most probably come by the end of this year.
