Nintendo has changed the way we communicate with our friends by launching Miitomo, the cute social media app. And now, it’s bringing Splatoon accessories to Miitomo to make it more fun and interesting.

In Miitomo, you create a tiny virtual version of yourself called Mii and connect with friends to engage in a Q&A session. By earning points and tickets you can also buy clothes and accessories to make your avatar look more like you.

Also, if you’re a Wii U owner, then there’s a good chance that you’re a fan of Splatoon which is filled with a variety of characters, weapons, maps, and a super sense of style. And now you can bring that style to Miitomo too.

Splatoon Accessories to Miitomo – When and How?

Since its launch, Nintendo has always held back from providing video game-related clothing in Miitomo. You can earn a Mario hat, but other than that, there are very few items to show off your love for the app.

But now, things have changed as Nintendo readies its first batch of Splatoon-themed gear for your Miitomo avatar.

You don’t have to wait for it too long. As it’ll be starting from April 27th, and you will be able to unlock inkling shoes, t-shirts, shorts and hairstyles with the app’s Miitomo Drop mini-game.

You can also redeem colorful squid pins using regular coins in the Miitomo Shop.

Tweet to Get Splatoon Wigs For Free

A competition is being run by Nintendo on Twitter. If enough people retweet its special hashtag, then everyone will gain access to the Splatoon wigs for free via Gift Box system.

Users will get Inkling boy wig after the hashtag gets more than 10,000 retweets and Inkling boy wig and Inkling girl wig after more than 20,000 retweets.

So start tweeting and get a perfect fit for Miitomo and snap adorable “Miifotos.”
