Amazon Launches Black Friday Deals Store & Electronics Holiday Gift Guide
Black Friday marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the United States, and occurs on the Friday following Thanksgiving.
We all know that “Black Friday” has expanded into Thanksgiving, with most big-box retailers opening their doors to frenzied, deal-hunting shoppers on Turkey Day itself rather than the day after. The deals include savings on knives, chandeliers and smartphones.
Amazon.com shares are declining 0.51% to $622.71 on Monday. Amazon has kicked off its 2015 Black Friday deals the day after Halloween. It will feature thousands of deals on categories like electronics, clothing, jewelry, kitchen, kids and much more.
Amazon Prime members will get an even sweeter deal, with early access to more than 30,000 Lightning Deals (Amazon’s discounts which are only valid for a short period of time), according to a release. Even so, the retail company scored even bigger sales this year, when they organized the first Prime Day in July.
With Amazon Prime, customers now will be able to experience a faster delivery option and hence, can also do the last-minute shopping.
This week, Amazon unleashed its Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week.
You can already see deals appearing on Amazon.
From November 1 to December, shoppers who have downloaded the free Target Cartwheel app have access to a new deal each day marking down a specific toy by 50%.
