Google Lost Over the Plan of LinkedIn to Use Mountain View’s North Bayshore

Google should now continue its search for an area where they can build their popular yet mysterious glass utopia. They can’t get the Mountain View’s North Bayshore district as it is already given to the LinkedIn group. The total measurement of the area equals to 2.2 million square foot million development.

It has been decided by the area’s city council that the area will be awarded to LinkedIn. It is simply because the city wants to go with a simpler plan from LinkedIn instead of the plan f the Google that looked great when it comes to rendering. This gave LinkedIn two-thirds of the area and the rest of the area is for Google’s use.

Since Google is only getting the remaining of the area, this just means that they can now build only one out of four buildings that were considered to be part of the initial construction plan. No wonder why Google should just follow its search for an area other than the Mountain View’s North Bayshore District.

According to the notes of The New York Times, the plan of LinkedIn is much more sensible than the plan of the Google. It is not a surprise why the city council decided to give priority to LinkedIn when it comes to the access of the Mountain View’s North Bayshore.
